Mirka Viitala

Finnish pianist Mirka Viitala is known for her musical versatility and deeply imaginative and powerful interpretations. Besides classical solo, chamber music and ensemble repertoire, Mirka plays actively contemporary music and collaborates with composers. She is the other half of Viitala & Holmström Piano Duo, a joint project of Mirka and pianist Emil Holmström.
